To provide scientific and scientific-organizational activity at the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine in the Center of collective use (CCC) "Resource Center for Grid and Cloud Technologies" at the MM Bogolyubov Institute of Theoretical Physics of NAS of Ukraine was installed a cloud infrastructure under management OpenStack software system. At present, the UA-BITP cloud site is the only cloud resource in Ukraine that meets all EGI requirements for availability and reliability and is included in the EGI Federal Cloud cloud resources.
CCC cloud resources can be used:
only subject to observance of the requirements of the legislation of Ukraine, observance of the moral norms of the legitimate interests of third parties, adopted in the Ukrainian society;
for non-commercial purposes only;
only by the subject matter of the official activities of the organization or institution for which the request was sent;
only using authorized legal software.
The CCC Cloud User is required to:
use cloud resources to perform only work, calculations, transmission or storage of data relevant to the subject matter of the scientific work of the scientific institution of which he is an employee;
adhere to the recommendations and rules of security of cloud resources;
use user accounts only for the purposes for which they were provided;
Use only your own accounts and do not attempt to disguise the real identity of certain accounts.
do not use the granted access to cloud resources to provide indirect access to unauthorized users;
avoid using cloud resources in a way that may disrupt their operations or cause them harm;
make rational use of cloud resources, take into account the interests of other users, try to prevent cloud resource congestion;
not to violate the resource management policy by using mechanisms to circumvent the security or administrative management of the cloud site;
notify the Cloud Security Administrator of any security incident, known or suspected attempt to gain unauthorized access to a user's account or workstation, and, in general, any anomalies in user behavior or the operation of programs that may attract their attention;
Scientific institutions and organizations of NAS of Ukraine and employees of scientific institutions of NAS of Ukraine who need to perform scientific calculations using cloud resources fill out the registration form (menu item "Registration") on the web site. Upon receiving the registration form, the CCP administration reviews the request and, if approved, is given access (login and password) to the user's office on the site. Access information is sent to the email that he has provided in the registration form.
